The $7500 includes everything (with certain qualifications listed below) to complete a 3 ft. by 5 ft. by 8 ft. tile shower. The price includes the building permit, demolition of the existing tub/shower, tile substrate (backer board on the walls and the dam, and mortar on the floor-all waterproofed, customers choice of tile (allowing $700 for 135 square feet of tile delivered to Mammoth--stone tile is good), customers choice of shower door (allowing $450 for the shower door) customers choice of shower valve, arm, head and trim (allowing $300 total for these four items), grout, caulk, touch-up paint, and clean-up.
The $7500 does not include the cost of dealing with issues discovered after demolition (rotting framing, plumbing routed outside the framing, lack of insulation, or other issues).
The qualifications are the existence of proper framing, water supply and drain lines, agreeable access to the building (in Mammoth Lakes) and an accessible water water supply valve.
This offer is accepted only by a written contract.
